비료성분함량비
복합비료에 들어 있는 비료성분 함량으로 비료무게 ％로 나타내며 N-P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> -K<sub>2</sub>O의 순서로 표기한다. 즉 21-17-17 또는 18-46-0 등으로 표기한다.

뿌리내림비료
기비의 일종으로 토양검정 결과 유효비료성분이 충분히 많아도 아직 어린 식물이 잘 이용할 수가 없을 것이 예상될 때 속효성인 비료를 아주적은 양을 줘 초기생육을 돕게하는 비료. 10a당 성분량 2∼3㎏정도.

성분이 다른 비료를 배합하려 할 때 각 함유성분의 배합량을 백분율로 환산한 것을 말한다. 비료의 배합비는 대상 작물, 시비 시기(기비, 추비 등)에 따라 달라진다. 배합비에 따라 비료를 배합할 때는 배합 원료비료의 비료성분량(％)으로 계산한다. [예 : 질소(N), 인산(P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>)
